The Population Concept In Microbiology

Abstract
Since the scientific basis of biological systematics of
living beings was laid down by Linnaeus the concept of species
has undergone numerous changes and improvements. This process
continues at present reflecting the progress of biological
sciences. Systematics summarise the recent advances of the
latter.
