Ninth International Symposium on Yeasts (ISY9)

The Ninth International Symposium on Yeasts (ISY9) was held concurrently
with the 10th International Biotechnology Symposium in Sydney, 25-30
August. The ISY is held every four years as an activity of the
International Commission for Yeasts (ICY) to foster interest in the science
and technology of Yeasts. As a symposium with a general mission, it aims to
promote interaction between scientists working in the many specialised
aspects of yeast biology and technology.

10th International Biotechnology Symposium (10IBS)

The ABA recently sponsored two major international meetings, the 10th
International Biotechnology Symposium and the 9th International Symposium
on Yeast (10th IBS/9th ISY). This was by far the largest activity ever
undertaken by the ABA and it is a credit to all concerned that it was a
success, both from the scientific and financial viewpoints.

Symposium I - Frontiers in Polypeptide Production

Symposium IV - Integrated Bioprocesses

Symposium V - Downstream Processing
