In order to study the anatomy of Tahiti lime leaf, grafting on volcameriano lemon (
Citrus volcameriano
Pasq.) it was collected samples of primary origin, at the Yaracuy state, Venezuela. These structure were sectioned and fixed in FAA, and then, they were dehydrated, demersed in paraffin and mounted on block for the realization of the cuttings, these were dyed with safranina and mounted in permout for their description. The leaf is bifacial and anphistomatic. The stomas are parasitic, they are arranged in the intercostals areas and with irregular orientation. The stomatic index varies between 2,85 and 91,93. The foliar lamina present both epidermis bald and uniseriate. Under, were observed litocistos and cistoscito. The mesophyll was observed interrupted for lysigenous cavities of oil and for origin and the nervations of smaller diameter in the spongy parenchyma. The petiole with only one bicolateral sheaf in the central position.
