Abstract

The increasing recognition and importance of phytopathogenic fungi, the difficulties encountered in their control and the increase in resistance to antifungal have stimulated the search for natural products alternatives. The antifungal effects of essential oils and their compounds were investigated on mycelial growth inhibition bioassays of Fusarium check for this species in other resources sp. During eight days of incubation was measured colony´s diameter and was determined growth rate micelial. In general, better antifungal effect was observed with Thymus vulgaris check for this species in other resources oils which had total inhibition at 200, 250 and 300 µg/ml. Cinnamomum zeylanicum check for this species in other resources , Syzygium aromaticum check for this species in other resources and Teloxys ambrosioides check for this species in other resources , oils exhibited a dose dependent inhibition on mycelial growth to increase the dose of 100 at 300 µg/ml. While Allium sativum check for this species in other resources , Citrus aurantifolia check for this species in other resources , Ruta chalepensis check for this species in other resources , Mentha piperita check for this species in other resources and Eucalyptus globulus check for this species in other resources oils had no activity at different concentration. All compounds with the exception of cineole had a fungicide or fungistatic effect.

Los aceites de Cinnamomum zeylanicum check for this species in other resources , Syzygium aromaticum check for this species in other resources y Teloxys ambrosioides check for this species in other resources , exhibieron una inhibición del crecimiento micelial dependiente de la dosis al incrementarla de 100 a 300 µg/ml. Mientras que los aceites de Allium sativum check for this species in other resources , Citrus aurantifolia check for this species in other resources , Ruta chalepensis check for this species in other resources , Mentha piperita check for this species in other resources y Eucalyptus globulus check for this species in other resources no tuvieron actividad antifúngica en las diferentes concentraciones probadas.
