Byttneria wingfieldii una nueva especie de Byttneria sección Crassipetala (Byttnerieae, Byttnerioideae, Malvaceae s.l) de Venezuela Rondón, José Baudilio Resumen Se describe e ilustra una especie nueva de Byttneria sección Crassipetala (Malvaceae s.l) del estado Falcón, Venezuela como Byttneria wingfieldii Rondón. Esta especie es semejante a B. aculeata (Jacq.) Jacq., y B. aurantiaca Mildbr., de las cuales se diferencia principalmente por la forma, coloración y tipo pubescencia de la porción distal de los pétalos. This species is similar to B. aculeata (Jacq.) Jacq. and to B. aurantiaca Mildbr., that differs from them mainly by the shape, color and pubescence type of the distal portion of the petals.
