La Revista Científica UDO Agrícola de la Escuela de Ingeniería Agronómica de la Universidad de Oriente en su noveno aniversario (2001-2009). I. Creación y características principales MÉNDEZ NATERA, Jesús Rafael Resumen El objetivo fue dar a conocer la creación de la Revista Científica UDO Agrícola, asi como las características más importantes que definen a la misma como lo son las indexaciones, los artículos publicados, sus estatutos, normas de publiación y normas para los revisores. La creación de La Revista Científica UDO Agrícola fue aprobada en reunión de Consejo de Escuela No 09 de fecha 14 de diciembre de 2000, siendo sus Editores Fundadores los Profesores Jesús Rafael Méndez Natera y Víctor Alejandro Otahola Gómez y su primer Comité Editorial estuvo integrado por los Profesores Vicente Arturo Michelena Alegría (Departamento de Agronomía), José Alexander Gil Marín (Departamento de Ingeniería Agrícola) y Jesús Rodríguez (Departamento de Economía Agrícola y Ciencias Sociales). La Revista Científica UDO Agrícola obtuvo el Depósito Legal y el ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) o Número Internacional Normalizado de Publicaciones Seriadas en el año 2001. El Depósito Legal es pp200102Mo1203 y el ISSN es 1317-9152. Creating and main characteristics MÉNDEZ NATERA, Jesús Rafael Abstract The objective was to present the creation of the Scientific Journal UDO Agrícola, as well as the most important features that define it: indexing published articles, statutes, author and reviwer instruction. The creation of the Revista Científica UDO Agrícola (Scientific Journal UDO Agrícola) was approved by the Consejo de Escuela (School Board) in meeting No 09, dated December 14 2000, being its Editors in Chief Profs. Jesús Méndez and Víctor Otahola and an Editorial Committee composed by Prof. Vicente Arturo Michelena Alegría (Agronomy Department), José Alexander Gil Narín (Agricultural Engineering Department) and Jesus Rodriguez (Agricultural Economics and Social Sciences Department).
