en The population of lymphocyte TCD8 in the gastric mucosa of patients with chronic renal failure -positive or not with Helicobacter pylori check for this species in other resources - who are receiving hemodialysis (Theoretical and analytical considerations)

Abstract

Chronic renal failure (CRF) has been associated with defects in cellular immunity, one of the markers being the lymphocyte population TCD8, because it´s involved in the activation of T cells. The relation between CRF in hemodialysis (IRCH) and Helicobacter pylori check for this species in other resources (Hp) is a close one, as expressed in gastrointestinal tissue damage. 58 biopsies of gastric mucosa were analysed, of which 34 patients had renal disease, and 24 did not. the inflammatory response of the tissue was evaluated, irrespective of positivity for Hp, and their immunohistochemical to TCD8 and histopathological patterns were correlated. 14 Histopathological patterns were described, the most frequent pattern was mixed chronic gastritis with Hp, and the most common immunopathological pattern was an intraepithelial / interglandular variety. It is suggested that determining these patterns of immune response in gastric mucosa of patients with pretransplant IRCH, might be important.
