Was explored the concept the integral formation have the student in the Health Faculty at the Universidad del Valle. The objective of this research its to reveal the concept of the students of the faculty of health in the Universidad del Valle, relating to the concept of integral formation. With the focus of the interpretative phenomenology of the German philosopher Martin Heidegger, for who the human beings are made up of everything that worries them, this has to do with their values, the meaning of things and the way people are. The info was collected through out interviews semi structured with focal groups, the code of the informations was the particular of the general and the superficial and the deep. The students have differents concepts of the integral formations, for many students its the formations how professional and citizens, the others students its know a little bit of everything, but the others students its the relations the theory with the practice and the relations with the context. The study show the importance to lisen the voices the students. The study shows the importance to hear the students because it gives us the possibility to confront the principles that we want to teach the students with the ones that really get into them that at the end they are the ones that have to learn what teachers want to teach.
