Include Bioline International titles in your library's e-journal list
A machine readable file that specifies all of Bioline's holdings is updated daily and is available for download. Please access this file at: http://www.bioline.org.br/biolinejournals

This file may be opened in Microsoft Excel and will give librarians and those who maintain e-journal lists and accurate picture of all journals on the Bioline website.

Linking & Harvesting Bioline Data
Open Archive Initiative Compliance
Bioline International is a fully OAI compliant server. Individuals and organizations harvesting Open Access information can access Bioline's metadata through the base url: http://www.bioline.org.br/oai

OpenURL Compliance
Bioline International currently supports an OpenURL-like interface for linking to the issue level of journal issues. We hope to further develop this feature in the near future, but in the meantime, the following notes may help you enable linking to Bioline from your databases.

Base Address: http://www.bioline.org.br/titles?
You may append the following fields:
issn=@ISSN@ (with hyphen!)
keys=V@VOLUME-NO@N@ISSUE-NO@
Where:
@ISSN@ is the ISSN (please include the hyphen!)
@VOLUME-NO@ is the volume number
@ISSUE-NO@ is the issue number

It is also possible to link directly to the search capabilities on the website. You can use a URL such as:
http://www.bioline.org.br/search?search_target=all_pub&search_string=kidney+nephrology

Further compatibility & web protocols
If you are interested in other linking, harvesting, or exchange protocols and Bioline, please contact us by email - bioline.international@utoronto.ca
