Iranian Journal of Pharmacology and Therapeutics (IJPT) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, published online (http://ijpt.iums.ac.ir/) biannually and CD-ROM yearly by the Razi Institute for Drug Research (RIDR) of Iran University of Medical Sciences and Health Services (IUMS). This journal has Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education ranking of : Scientific and Research Orientated Journal. Access to the IJPT online edition is FREE. The opinions expressed in IJPT are the contributors' and not necessarily those of the RIDR, IUMS or the editorial board. IJPT publishes regular research papers, reviews, mini-reviews and case reports which deal with all aspects of experimental and clinical pharmacology. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish experimental data in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. Electronic files regarding the full details of the experimental procedure (conference slides, video sequences, software, etc), which can not be published in a normal way, can be deposited as supplementary material.
